On board the plane.Actually,Airbus A319

Okay.Deep breaths.In.Out.In.Alright.I'm on board the plane now.Beside Mr Ho! My God...Damn sway leh.Wenqi is in front,and I'm beside Mr.Ho and the tour guide - Yu Shan Jie Jie.For 3 1/2 hours.I think that we're seated according to surnames....just a theory.See,Wenqi is seating beside Darric (Heng) and Alina (Chua)...but whatever.I don't want to bore you with theories.
At least I have my IPod Video :] Mr Ho has an IPod Nano! OMG. Plus he got it free from his friend.So lucky!
Aiya so far so good.Orange juice is okay...bought some jellybeans in the airport.Will drown myself in them.No cherry liqueurs here! ;]
Takeoff was great....I love takeoffs.Haha.Filled in a form too.Okay - missed the empty cup dateline or deadline.Which one is it? The air pressure must be affecting my brains.Wish I could hallucinate though - that Wenqi is beside me or something.But its kinda impossible.I mean,Wenqi does not even in the least resemble Mr Ho.Its like trying to compare a dolphin with an elephant.No offense.To the elephant, I mean.
Okay....being bad.Better wrap this up.More later...cya!

About what> Hmmm...how about a Jellybean guide? What flavours are nice and such.Okay I'm eating Jelly Belly - The Original Gourmet Jelly Bean that has 20 flavours.I shall try everyone and tell you how they taste like.

Watermelon - Okay,pretty nice
Straberry Daiquiri - A bit too sweet,but okay
Licorice - Awful,like always.Where's that barf bag?
Island Punch - Cool!
Pina Colada - Too sweet + artificial for me
Coconut - A bit too sweet
Tutti-Frutti - Toothpaste! It tastes like tootpaste...haha
Toasted Marshmalow - It actually tastes like marshmallows.Hurrah

Onboard the bus to Dali.

Okay I didn't write my way through the flight.I'm on a bus now and its another 3 hours to Dali -.- Tired of travelling liao.Well,there's been a change of plans and everything is turned upside down.So we'll be in Dali for the first few days,instead of being in Kunming first.
About the flight...talked to Mr Ho.Did you know there was this girl in our school long time ago who had a heart seizure while rehersing for the Pr.6 Graduation Play and died on the way to the hospital.Her family donated a piano.Rumour has it that the piano plays by itself during the night.Freaky.
The piano got sold away.To an ususpecting customer.
Okay...better on my phone now.And my IPod.3 hours! Oh God.

Facts about Kunming/Guide/Whatever

-Kunming = 4 x Singapore's size
-Guide named Michael / Yu Shan [2 guides]
-People just walk in between cars on the road when its the red light.There's not many proper crossings
-Earthquake! Yunan is famous for being an earthquake area! Eeek....
-Houses have no lift.Usually 7 storeys high [max]
-No aircon.Duh.They have natural aircon!
-56 ethnic cultural groups in China
-26 ethnic cultural groups in Kunming alone
-People that live near water usually wear colourful,light-coloured clothes
-People that live in mountainous areas usually wear black colours

5 HOURS JOURNEY!!! OMG!!! Will reach there around 9+ pm to 10+pm for SUPPER.I want my bed!!! Wah!!! Don't even get to bathe de.... sheesh.

Still Bus...

Finished dinner in a restaurant.Was freezing there.Its getting real cold.Getting real dark too.Writing under the light in the bus.The sky gets dark real fast here...not even 7pm yet.
Travelling in this dark,deserted highway is soooo COOL!Haha.
Michael says its an 6 hour journey and we'll reach there a bit after 10pm.Well,its 6pm now! Won't we reach Dali around 11pm +? -.-
Better stop writing now...getting jerky.

In the Regent Hotel Photobucket rocks! ^^

Just woke up.Su Qin is bathing first.Wake up call is at 7.30 am but we woke up at 7am cause there were lots of stuff to do.
Still a bit groggy.Last night reached the hotel at 11.35pm! Then went off to drink ginger soup, which was quite nice.Our table was the one with least people so Mr.Ong sat with us.Shuqi hated the soup and showed it so when the waitor asked if anyone wanted anymore soup Mr.Ong pointed to Shuqi and said that she wanted.
Whoa! Our principal knows how to sabo peopl!!! Heheh.No offense.Shuqi ended up crying ... maybe she was....to tired?
Reached this fabulous hotel room around midnight.Room no is 2137.This room is soooo big!And very nicely furnished.After all,it is a 5* hotel...
Okay,Suqin's coming out liao.Gtg.More later!

Hotel Room

About to sleep.The adjoining doors between my room and Wenqi's room are open.Isn't that great?Except that Shuqi needs the lights on to sleep...Haha.Anyway today we went to the Old Town of Dali + The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Monastery.The Pagodas are more than 1000 years old!Mr Ong bought roses for all he girls + the female teachers + Yu Shan Jie Jie + Mr Ho,hehe.
At the Old Town of Dali I saw this cart being drawn by a sheep.You can get a ride on that.Now that isn't something you can see everyday in Singapore.It reminded when I was young I used to go to this Arcade in Parkway Parade (no it isn't there) where they had this mechanicanised beast - tiger,elephant etc. and I would sit on it while it walked round the whole arcade with the Arcade staff beside me looking very bored.
Went for a crise on Lake Erhai after lunch at a restaurant opened by the Bai Tribe's people.Their style of cooking is really different from us Singaporeans.But I guess that's pretty obvious.
On the ferry we watched this performance of the Bai tribe's people - courtship,marriage ceremony....in their tradition if you pinch the bride you will be giving her good luck.'Qia Xing Niang' The harder you pinch the more luck you give.Whoa.No wonder marriages are a once-in-a-lifetime thing.Poor bride.Also,if a girl sits on a boy it means that they are married...or something.
We also drank 3 courses of tea.I got a bit giddy though - he ferry was rocking.The toilets in the ferry are horrible...one drain in the ground and a half-door.Eeek.
After the performance we landed on this small isle with statues of Buddhas...but I'm not Buddhist,so...
After 20 mins we all got back up onto the ferry.We went to the top deck to sit this time and it was cold there.It was unlike anything I'd experience before.My nose kept running.... -.- Finally it stopped and I joined a few people who were on the front deck where there was nothing shielding the wind.The wind was so loud,so strong that is actually pushed me back.I had to grip the railing to stop myself from skidding backwards into someone.Coming from a generally disaster free [touch wood,haha :P ] country this was my first experience of this kind of wind.
Mok actually took of her coat.Later she couldn't stand it and came to her senses and went in search of her coat [who was with Enseilia] Its a wonder she didn't fall ill afterwards.
My face was very red after this afternoon...the rays here are very strong.
Oh yeah let me tell you the story of our Hotel Room's toilet bowl.After hearing it Mok actually said she wished she had recorded the whole happening down.
Okay,as many of you should know,when you flush a toilet bowl the water usually starts going down right? What happened was that the opposite happened...the water flooded the whole toilet and I panicked so I ended up scooping the water using the cup and pouring it down into the sink...I also dropped the cup into the toilet bowl so I had to use the disposable toothbrush to push it out...
Seriously why am I typing this? Anyway it was a horrific incident...lol In the end I regained my head enough to call for room service to get it fixed.
Got a good laugh out of it later though...and it got fixed in the end.Anyway gotta go.Cya!

Hotel Room

In my new hotel room.Travelled from Dali this morning.We are in this Photobucket seriously rocks!! ^^ .
Today went for "shopping"...bought a Nike football.Hehe.Also went to this place where they studied tea...its properties,etc.
Sleeping Beauty,Pu Er,Bai Xue Gong Zhu,Hou Zi Pa Shu (I think) were the types of tea we tried.Basically its the same as last year...haha
Oooo btw Wei Ming is interested in Junni.Pretty obvious lah,almost everyone on this trip knows.Just saw he + Jun Wei run outside her room (opposite mine) put a package on the floor,pressed the doorbell and rn away.Plus they are on a different level leh.Tsk,tsk.Mok says its the pair of shoes he bought for her.So "romantic"!
Aiya at least this is better than flirts.Every trip also encounter.So mai sway liao.
Tomorrow having school visits.Junni doing the speech.Must remember to write the formal diary.The sian one.Probably won't even collect lor.Better sleep now.Have 5.45am tomorrow.

Hotel Room

Today was such a bittersweet day.We visited Qiu Shi Xiao Xue.First off we had Concentration classes.It was where we learnt Math rules and where they had pictures flashed before our eyes and we had to absorb as much stuff from that picture as we can then later answer the questions posed.Their lessons were all on Powerpoint.Next was Yu Wen Ke,then Yin Yue.After that we went for a lunch break outside the school Mr.Ong invited some of the teachers to join us.
Later when we went back to school.We were waiting for the English lessons to start when there was this group of students wanting to know how we,the citizens of Singapore,pledge ourselves...hehe.Just joking.I mean they wanted to know how we greet our teachers.They salute their teachers.Then Mr Ho asked me to demostrate...didn't really mind lah.But when went out to show them one of the girls went "Hao ke ai wo!" [Meaning me - that I was very cute ...] and all the whole group inside the classroom heard it.So embarrasing leh...lol.Plus she was younger than me...lol.So in the end I just told her : "Ni ye hen ke ai" [You are also very cute] Haha.
So anyway...English lessons...they acted out words like "boy" ... "happy" ... yes a Primary 5 class did that.We had to rate them.The girls gave more points than the boys....haha.I was sitting beside Suqin,Junni,Christie [on my right] and Ryan + Jun Wei were on my left.We were all comparing.My score was like 10...8...8..7...9...10 [upon 11] and thie boy's were like 8...7...6...3...7... Lol.
After that we had this performance by the class.Weiming was sitting near me,so I teasingly asked "Did you bring your camera?" (Junni was doing a speech later) then he went "Shit." and rushed out of the room,came back a minute later panting like mad and the first thing he asked was 'Did I miss her?"
My.How nice.
At the end of the performance we were asked to dance...learn how to dance their traditional dance.I forgot all the steps already.Anyway we were all sooo embarassed and laughing and hiding at the back.
Later we exchanged gifts.I don't know what happened,but suddenly this girl who I had made friends with,Xiong Xi,started crying.Before long almost all the class girls had started crying,even some of the class boys.When the boys started crying,thats when I wanted to cry.It was all so sad.Imagine yourself inside a room of crying people who will be parting.I also wanted to cry.But I couldn't.I mean,it would be so ironical if there I was saying Photobucket is hot (Yes we are all big fat liars) and I was crying myself.
In the end I cried though...in the bus.A bit only lah.Junni + Suqin didn't cry at all...and they weren't looking remotely sad.Junni was comforting the pupils,yes,but she didn't look sad.
By then Zhao Xing had gone pyscho (no offence)I mean,he was high-fiving all the boys while crying and screaming "Bye!"
After that we went for shopping...everyone wasn't in the mood.We just had a crying marathon.Even Miss Sobrilo was teary.She asked us if it was like that every year.Me and Wenqi told her no.It was our first time that we were so sad.But in the end everyone decided we needed something to do,to take our minds off crying...
Bought a Gameboy + Catridge for bro.Spent $80 Sing.Almost broke liao.Mother agve me taiwan currency...lol.
Jianwei is running a fever.Hope he gets better...
Need to write the other diary liao.4 entries behind.Hehe.Better go...bye!
P.S The worse part is that I didn't even take photos of the students cause I forgot to bring my camera along...wah...so sad leh.Just remembered only after I left.

Hotel Room

In the new, 3 1/2* hotel with very little light,no hair dryer/kettle and red ants in the toilet!!! Yucks!!! This room smells of smoke too...so it really and truly does stink.The message on the door welcoming us is gramatically incorrect in everyone sense,and the ad for the KTV lounge has a picure of a woman without clothes on it.
Lol...what a way to start an entry,eh?
More and more people getting sick.Fever...vomitting...visiting hospitals...
A bit off today...tired...But still have to write,haha.Been packing and unpacking...very sian.
Today visited the Jiu Xiang Karst Cave.Took a boat ride.Rowed it for a bit.Later went into the cave.Eerie,but very beautiful and intruiging all the same.
Walked 3.4km,coming across waterfalls.At some points the cave was dangerous - very narrow crossing spaces plus it was slippery.Mr Ho had some problems...and there was this group of Pr.6 girls who actually stood and watched and laughed at him.So mean,right? At least me and my good friends didn't do that.Suqin,Wenqi,Shuqi and I didn't feel the need to jeer at people.
At the end there was this flight of stairs (334 steps - I counted) for us to climb.After that it was chairlift time.I sat with Wenqi.In front of us was Ryan + Weiming,behind us was Michael,and behind Michael was Shuqi + Suqin.Weiming was actually screaming "Mummy" - okay,he was playing lah but he was still scared as in he kept asking 'Is this safe?' before the ride.He also asked where was Junni,who was sitting with Brandon,this cute Pr.4 boy who was a hit with the Pr.6 girls and whom Weiming was jealous of -.-
So we were all laughing at him - it was like he needed Junni to 'save' him while usually,the case is that he should be the one 'saving' Junni... Ryan was also trying to lift the handbars [like us - we couldn't resist the temptation :P] and Weiming was shouting at him to stop.
Speaking of Weiming,he has been wearing this sweater alone with no shirt inside.Then he would pull his zip down a little to expose a bit of his chest.Aiya trying to impress lah.
But I kinda agree with Mr Ho's opinion - 'You look like an Ah Beng Kia' Hehe.So anyway Ryan was teasing him then he actually pulled the zip down further.Wenqi and i were laughing like what...
When the chairlift ride ended we had our photo taken ... we were laughing and smiling so it still wasn't that bad.We wanted Weiming's photo ... as in we could be seen there,but we looked nicer lah.So we asked if we could cut out that part and we give them something to stick over that part.I had a Neoprint in my wallet,so...
For some reasong,Weiming's reaction to that Neoprint was an 'My God!' while Ryan didn't comment but offered to photocopy his photo and give it to us.Wah so nice.Lol.We weren't that serious...we were all just kinda joking and such.But I bet he has forgotten his offer by now.Usually boys don't remember this kind of stuff,judging alone by how my brother behaves.
Stone forest came up next.It was also very nice,very scenic...but one needed a sense of imagination to appreciate staring at stones.One stone would seem like a hundred different shapes for everyone of us looked at it differently.So actually instead of labelling the stone and restricting our point of view they should just put one question mark.
But then I suppose it would be very boring,with question marks everywhere.So after more phototaking we went to the restaurant,then to the hotel.Tomorrow last day liao...but not as she bu de as last year.Last year in a way more fun.Okay...so,cya!Flower market tomorrow.There;ll be a show to watch...hehe.;]

In my house

Back at home already.Very tired.Today didn't go to the flower market.Sad,right?So disappointing.The flower market has alo of stuff to buy ;] Not only flowers.Stuff like stickers and keychains and paintings...oh well.Instead we spent the time in the hotel...in Mr Ong's room.Only for a while.Mr Ong's room was soooo big! His was a suite.We [Me,Wenqi,Junni,Zhaoxing,Ryan,Weiming + some other Pr.5 guys] were watching shows in there.Mr Ong was also there.Shuqi,Suqin,Brandon,Enseilia went off to buy some stuff from the store outside the hotel restaurant.I bought painitngs of my name,Isabella's name and my mother's name.Wenqi bought for Karmin + herself and...ehh can't remember liao.Anyway the plane journey was spent [for me] sleeping,helping Miss Lim look after Derrick [press ice pack onto his forehead...] and talking to Mr Ho.Suqin,Wenqi and Mok were behind me and they were laughing and playing.I got a bit feverish on the flight and had ice packs press onto my neck and forehead.
When it was time to land Mok didn't fasten her seatbelt and banged her head on the back of Yu Shan Jie Jie's seat [which was directly in front of her]and we were all laughing.She actually took out her lifejacket and wanted to take it home with her "to practise".Haha damn funny.Except in the end she didn't lah,cause she didn't want to cause the person who sat on her seat the next time to have to lifejacket,if the air stewardess didn't replenish the lifejacket.
Went to get everything cleared after that,then it was time to go.I met my parents and said goodbye to my friends and we had dinner at this restaurant where,coincidentally,Ryan and his family were dining at to.But anyway I was too caught up talking to my parents and Kaiyuan so didn't really notice much really.Later left the restaurant,went home to bathe.So this marks the end of my trip.I really missed my 1) bed 2)computer 3)shower I'm very bad right,never miss my parents as much as I missed my bed/computer/shower.Haha :P

So anyway,it was a good trip.Not as good as last year?But anyway I can't really compare cause everything was different.Happy to be back though.Alright I want to go to sleep now ...zZz... can't afford to fall ill.Have another trip next Sunday - to Malaysia.Cya!
